My first memory of Michael Jackson was one of my cousins telling me that Michael didn't like little kids so he would try and eat them if you got to close. Yep scared the pants off of me, and then when the video Thriller came out that didn't help much. As I aged I grew to love and appreciate the music that came from Michael Jackson, that is up until about the duo "scream" with Janet came out, everything after that left much MUCH to be desired (in MY opinion). But maybe that is because he was bored with making ultimate dance tunes and moved on to more interesting things like trying his darnedest to land a predator role on Dateline NBC with Chris Hansen. So how did I hear about the untimely Death of the King of uncomfortable media coverage... I mean the King of Pop? well i got home and I see a flashing red light indicating a message is awaiting. I listen, and this is what I hear....
{Becky singing}
"heal the world, heal the world, make it a better place, oh yea, for you and for me and the entire human race, there are people dying, like me today of cardiac arrest. can't believe Its true but the king is gone." {and of course she is singing it to the Heal the World tune}
Yes I was drinking water at the time, and yes it did end up coming out of my mouth in a fountain due to the hysterics of laughter. No not because Michael is dead, come on guys, I do actually have a heart, but because seriously if you don't know beck you are missing out, she is one funny cookie.Now really, seriously, I am honestly quite sad about it. Any untimely death is heartbreaking and especially someone who has made such a huge impact on the world. Michael did give us the ultimate dance tunes. He single-handidly led the whole world to believe that wearing one glove was cool, he made floody black pants with white socks look mad awesome, his uhhm (clear throat) "Tee Hee" move is one of the most well known dance moves to date, and he made everyone who has ever wanted to dance wish they were a zombie. But his dance moves and dance ability alone make him a legend in my book he was AMAZING!! He WILL be missed by millions, I may even say billions of people. So rest in peace Michael and may I someday learn to do the moonwalk.
P.S lets not forget Farrah Fawcett, but I don't have anything witty to say about her, I really did love her to pieces. :(

Amy, I flying out this Monday! Let's get all the kiddo's together and have a Micheal Jackson Dance party at my house!
We can all get a glove to wear and scare the kids to death with Thriller on the big screen!
Oh my gosh....I can hear Becky singing that right this second. And I've never heard anything funnier. Beck, you're a genius!
(And Amy, you're no slouch either...that Chris Hansen comment is gold...GOLD BABY!!)
I am so sad over Micheal, Farrah, and Billy Mays. What's going on? So sad! I loved watching Farrah's story on t.v. Wow what an inspiration!
