Alzheimers Memory Walk 2009

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL WHO DONATED TO OUR TEAM!

I decided this is going to be an ongoing tradition each year. I loved it! I loved raising money, I loved getting people involved, I loved supporting such a tender cause, and I loved being a part of this! Next year our goal is to be the #1 team for donations! Oh and its never to early to tell me you want to be apart of David and Goliath for the 2010 Alzheimer's Memory Walk.

This year Suzi and Christian came down and walked with us. Suzi had the highest amount of donations for our team! Go Suz! Our Team came in 3rd place for donations with a team total of $731!!! We even got a special award for 3rd place. It was all very humbling. My Grandma Smart suffered with Alzheimer's and I also have and Uncle who is currently suffering, so it all hits very close to home for me. My heart was very full to see how many people turned out and how many donations were made, and now we are that much closer to curing Alzheimer's!
