Dan and I had to talk in church yesterday. All I can say is that it was the first time in my life that I was super close to praying for the flu. I didn't, but boy am I glad thats over!
As we were kneeling down to say family prayers last night Anthon says "take it away dad!" Yep I about wet my pants.
Today on the way home from preschool, I thought I would be a super cool mom and stop and get a couple hot dog buns so we could feed the ducks. I give both kids their own section of the bun. Noah shoves his in his mouth as fast as he can so that he doesn't HAVE to feed it to the ducks, and Anthon starts crying because he thought they were going to attack him. Needless to say I fed the ducks. Just me. With one kid gaging on a hot dog bun and the other crying. Good times I tell ya. Good times.
Thats right folks I said ducks. They dont migrate south for the winter here. We ARE the south! Yes I am rubbing it in. Because hey, come july you guys have all the gloating power.

Yeah, but I am coming in February and maybe we can try feed the ducks-take two.
