This is a "Green Smoothie" that she made me. (A little background you must know, I loathe most things green. Lettuce, spinach, celery, pickles, you name, chances are I don't like it. Even when we go to a fancy restaurant and they serve green noodles with the regular noodles in their Fettucini Alfredo, I cant eat them, I pick them out.)
Well this delightful looking smoothie is made with Raw Baby Spinach, a Mixture of "dark greens" (looked like green and purple lettuce to me), agave nectar (yep had never heard of that), flax seed oil, frozen berries and a banana. Basically what I thought would be my worst nightmare. But....I faced my fears and I actually really really liked it. It tasted like a fruit smoothie. who knew. I do have to have mine in a none see-thru cup preferably with a lid and a straw. :)
A couple weeks ago Charlie came to visit for a fabulous 10 days. We had so much fun. I even learned how to sprout my own wheat (lets be honest, I will probably never do that), Went on Walks, then we took the 2 year olds (Noah and Her little guy) and went to the beach, the aquarium, ate delicious food, and actually relaxed (Anthon stayed home with dad and had a "totally awesome boys weekend" (Anthons words). After 10 days of Charlie fun, It was REALLY hard to let her go back home, booooo.

I make a similar smoothie only I add extra berries (the mixed berries kind with raspberries, strawberries, blueberries). The dark color of the berries turns it purple instead of green. Purple is much more appetizing:)
