what we've been up to.

We love this time of year because it brings VISITORS!!! I mean how can you not have fun with this....

We also decorated pumpkins a week or so ago. This is the kind of pumpkins you get when you have a parent with an over-active gag reflux who cant do the whole carving out the pumpkin thing, and another parent that is ocd on cleanliness and a fabulous aunt who recognized both in us and supplies the pumpkin "decorating" supplies!

We are also in the process of re-doing the boys room. You learn a lot about yourself when tools and hardware are involved. Me, I learned that I know absolutely NOTHING about that. But luckily we are blessed with our Maren who does. And she is darn stinkin good at it to. I love the room so far! I love it! i love it! I love it! We aren't finished yet, so stay tuned for the finished product and before and after pictures.

P.S by this time Tuesday my mom will be the proud owner of a house that is ONLY 1.4 miles from my front door. That is a serious upgrade in my book when you consider that her home now is 392.43 miles away. Can you say HOORAY!!!!
