what happens in vegas......

This year given my current condition, we decided to do our girls trip before the little bundle arrives. We didn't have much choice but to do it Vegas style this year, because closeness to home was a necessity and Filmore Utah didn't look to promising ;) But not to worry we plan on making up for it next year. As always we had fun. I have the greatest friends, we truly can be doing nothing and still be having a great time. Lots and Lots of laughter. We enjoyed fabulous food, shopping, sleeping, and everything else.

The trip this year started out like this....
yes that is David Spade. He stinks, literally like smelly body odor. But it was cool, cause he's famous and famous people are instantly cool in the eyes of all of us.

Now because it even scares me (and probably little children) to look at pictures of myself this big I didn't take many. You can thank me later
Cutest little pizza shop. Inside the Plazzo, i think...or could be the Wynn

We got to see Kati. Yes sadly it has been 8 years since I've seen her. I'm a bad friend, but she still loves me.... I hope ;)

And just for the sake of a grand finale....the trip ended like this....
Here is the readers digest version of how I ended up spending our last evening NOT eating at Maggiano's and hanging out in the Las Vegas Labor and Delivery wing instead....

I was feeling great. We had just taken a little break in the room and relaxed. Our next stop was our reservations at Maggiano's. We stopped at a few stores along the way, then comes the hello kittie store (I KNEW hello Kittie was evil). I started to feel really hot (and no not the sexy kind, the body temperature kind) so I stepped outside the store. Then I started to get light headed and nauseated. I found a bench right outside the restaurant and sat down while Heather went to tell them we were here. I progressively started to feel worse, I asked Tami to go ask them where the nearest bathroom was and.......
That was the last thing I remember.
Next thing I know I am lying on the floor probably about 30 feel away from the bench covered in throw up. Yes glamorous I know. I had passed out AND Puked. It took me a while to realise what just happened. I looked up to see Tami and Heather running towards me. I was so confussed as to why I was on the floor.
.....yada yada yada.....boring stuff....yada yada yada.....
I called my Dr. and was told I needed to go to the nearest Labor and Delivery to get checked. Of course we were in the ONLY unpopulated place in ALL of las Vegas, so since nobody saw what happened, it was unknown if I had fallen on my stomach, and the question still remained why did I pass out??
So we spent the evening in the Labor and Delivery. They hooked me up to the monitors, made me pee in a cup, took some blood, did an ultrasound, hooked me up to some fluids, and monitored me for the longest 6 hours ever!  After everything checked out we were free to go.
The conclusion in vegas: Nothing
The conclusion by my Dr the next day: Some fancy word I cant remember that basically means I wasn't getting enough blood to my brain.
What to do next: Pray it never happens again, it was SOOOOO EMBARRASSING!!
But I can now officially cross "Pass out and puke in Vegas" off my list of things to do before I die.

Wow that was long, and possibly super boring. I wont even say its for journaling purposes, cause lets be honest how could I ever possible forget waking up on the floor in the mall, in my own puke, in Vegas.

But once again I have the greatest friends. They did an amazing job of keeping me calm, even though I scared the crap out of them (and me). They were amazing. I literally could not have done it without them. Next year we plan on making it just as memorable, but hopefully with no hospital stops :)

And I thought Dan could only go and get in that kind of trouble in Vegas..

Atleast you didn't pass out and puke because you were drunk like the majority of people in Vegas do. I am glad you are ok.

Omigosh! I was reading along thinking how fun, that's great, and then the ending! Lady! I'm so glad you're okay. Hooray for Vegas girls' trips too, minus the scary experiences. No more fainting. I fainted in the mall during pregnancy number two. No puking, but I do feel your pain.

P.S. Your post on my blog totally made my day. Hugs to you!

okay- I am laughing so hard... not because you passed out (oh know!) but because of what you said about crossing out puking and passing out in Vegas off your bucket list. You are hilarious! Glad you are fine. That would be so scary. Oh- and you do NOT look fat. You look amazing. Your face doesn't even look a bit pudgy or anything and you still have skinny arms. You are one of those effervescent "glowing" prego girls. No fair.
