a post over 3 days...

Days like this day (saturday) are my favorite. Warm, lazy, wet, and ends with a BBQ with some of our favorite people!

And then today (sunday) I woke up to the smell of bacon! Not kids, not my alarm for running, bacon! And eggs! It was heavenly! Oh not to mention that since Lil c and I are still a little bit shy about germs we made a decision to just try one hour of church for a while, so we Came home after sacrament and took a looooong nap (he's still asleep) in our cool quiet house. Love it!

Now the real today (Monday) we spent at the splash pad, then the park. Then sitting on our porch in the perfectly perfect weather and watched Dad mow the lawn. I know, my life is so rough ;)

Last week Anthon got a black eye from a jump rope at school. Then on monday while we were at the park he tripped up the stairs and slammed his head into the playstructure. His poor perfect little bruised face. I was telling him this morning that his bruises make me sad to which he replied "well I AM a boy mom." Yes, yes he is :)
