something in the water

Is it true, have I really not posted anything for a whole week? Wow. Is that a record for me? It might be. here is what has been going on over here this week...

1. My wonderful fabulous friend Charlie moved away. Still a touchy sad subject for me. It was so hard for me to see her go. I have fought the urge all week to take up permanent residence on the couch with Ben & Jerry and sadness since she left. Who knew that even as an adult I would have the same crummy feeling I did when I was in middle school and my best friend Amberly moved away.

we tried to get a picture of all our boys together and these are the best we could get. :)

2. Noah has been throwing up almost every night just once, about an hour or two after we put him to bed. He's not sick, he just wakes up, cries and then throws up. Not sure what is going on but since I did NOT major in anything even remotely resembling medicine nor do I have any expertise in the field at all I decided that maybe it was acid reflux. We have made sure that we don't feed him at least for at least 2 hours before bed and give him some previcid that the Dr did prescribe to him once upon a moon. Well hopefully it does the trick, we are now a couple nights under our belt with no barf. YAY!

3. Jem & I got to get away for a few hours and see "Bride Wars" FUNNY! I loved it and that night was JUST what I needed!

4. nothing else happened I just have OCD and couldn't end on number 3.

Now we are on to a new week and a new found determination to fight the January blues and totally kick some tail. Oh and really I have a date with P90X this week (thanks MaRea for the comradery). One of us (me or P90X) may be a little tinsy intsy bit scared of the next 90 days. Oh yea bring it on!! And in the words of Dan quoted from his favorite movie ;) "Oh its already been brung!"

Quinn says I can't eat Ben & Jerry's anymore because they support gun control. "That's just great!" I tell him, "what's next, Ritter Sports?"

"Nope," he says, "Kenneth Cole."

Apparently they support gun control too.

Quinn claims though, that he can still wear his favorite KC suit because he bought it before he knew. Shouldn't there be some sort of stipulation like that for Ben & Jerry's? Something like I learned to love it before I knew???
