have you ever had a brilliant idea to do something, and then half way through the "something" you think to yourself "I guess I should have thought this through more." Yep well that happens at least daily over here. But yesterday I think I learned my lesson. I had the "brilliant" idea of letting Anthon ride his bike on my run, that way I wouldnt have to push the double stroller I could just push the single stroller. Well to my horror the kid decided that this would be the day to try out his super speed mega power he had been hiding. He would ride as fast as he could and I would run my darndest to keep up, because I HAD to keep up (keep in mind it is a curvy busy trail so I couldn't just let him go for fear he would crash into someone). So after a couple minutes of SUPER SPEED he would just stop, dead stop and need a drink. after he took one tiny itsy bitsy sip he would go back into warp speed again. Not even easing into it for my sake, nope super speed it was. It was a DARN good thing that he decided it was time to turn around and go back after 3/4 mile because I am not sure I could have made it more than the mile and a half we did. So today....Noah and I went while Anthon was at preschool. 3 miles and much better!
P.S I revamped my running playlist, who knew Bonnie Tyler would be such a great running partner. Holding out for a Hero, Total Eclipse of The Heart. Oh yea, go Bonnie.

how funny! I've actually had that same experiance before with my guy on his bike....only did it once!
full speed ahead. Maybe Dan fed Anthon some sugar or something right before you went.
Who would have thunk Anthon had all that turbo speed on a bike!
Can't wait for those days! LOL!
LOL. Sounds like some great interval training! I love that picture of Anthon. Super cute. :)
I better get going or else you will not want to be seen with me on the beach. That is so funny! I guess you got a good workout.
