this is how we feel about frogs...

last Wednesday Anthon's swimming teacher gave him a little frog (a real live one) in a cup to take home. We had a couple errands to run before we went home.....frogs cannot survive the heat of being left in the car in St George apparently.....As luck had it Anthon fell asleep in the car....we quickly drove out to a place Dan knew had a lot of frogs to replace Mr Froggie Pants.......he got 10 frogs.....we put them all in a Styrofoam type cooler.....to which I replied "ok but we have to leave the lid on because I don't want one of those suckers jumping out." Dans response "Oh they cant jump that high."......I come home from Dance to find Dan and Anthon looking for the 10th frog...he jumped out......nope still haven't found him and it is totally creeping me out. Dan tries to make me feel better and says "I really bet the others just ate him." One can only hope. I have OCD'd my house from top to bottom and no darn frog. The frogs have since been moved to the "porch" where they are out of sight and smell vicinity until the day of their aged death (please oh please be soon). You see people this is why I cannot have pets. No pets. We can have pictures of pets I guess, as long as it is not any of those creepy pictures with cats doing weird things with cute fuzzy sayings on them, those are just as bad as our frogs.

My boy's favorite thing to do is catch frogs. I'm glad you were able to replace the poor frog.

I lost a fish once in the bathroom and was looking so very carefully and all of the sudden.....squish! Yep I stepped on the poor lil guy! (bare foot to) Sooo gross! Hopefully you don't find your little froggie frog that way. Good luck.

Ha ha ha. I lost a frog once for about 2 weeks. He showed up in one of my plants (I admit I was a wee bit disappointed he was still alive... he was a "gift" from a friend. Good luck!

Those seem to be the famous last words of all missing frogs: "They can't jump that high!" Wiley little things, aren't they?! I hope he turns up in a non-creepy sort of way! Good for you for replacing the other one! :)

I love the fluffy cat pictures, my favorite is the one where the cat is hanging onto something and they saying is "Hang in there" thanks for reminding me how wonderful those are!
