Holidays are pretty hard for me to live away from family, especially the 4th of july, but we managed to have a jolly fun time anyways. We started the day by going as early as possible to avoid the scorching heat to the town festivities. They did not let us down. It was actually quite fun. Anthon got his face painted, tried the slip-n-slide, we had a snow cone, played on the bouncy toys, walked around and sweat in places we didn't know possible and made it home in time for lunch.
After the naps we went and got another snow cone (i'm addicted) and then headed out to Jem & Robbs for some swimming and hamburgers. Since their kids are still on vacation we figured we would interrupt their silence and share some of our noise with them ;)
{Anthon in Noahs little floaty tube, shortly after this picture the tube tried to eat him and feed him to the bottom of the pool}
We went home just in time to walk out on our deck-thingy and watch the 5 foot high firework show that the city put on. Really guys, thats all we can afford around these parts is some sparklers that didn't even reach the top of our palm tree? But the boys liked them anyways and Noah was mesmerized.
God bless America!

That tube eating your little boy is a little freaky... Good thing you were right there. I bet that was a little traumatic for him. I honestly don't know how you do the heat down there in the south Amy... I HATE being hot! You manage to stay beautiful to, I'd be showing my misery.;) Your family is the cutest!
