Happy Happy Graduation!

Yesterday we had someone graduate from preschool at our house! We are so proud of him. Its just preschool you might say, but let me brag for just a bit if you will....

He can now:

*Say all the letters of the alphabet and tell you what sound they make

*Tell you all the vowels and when a vowel makes its "short sound"

*Count by 5's and 10's to 100

*Knows all his shapes INCLUDING Octagon!

*Knows all the days of the week

*Knows all the months of the year

*Knows the Pledge Of Allegiance

*Can read and sound out some words

*Knows how to hold a violin and can tell you all the parts of it

*can "play" twinkle twinkle little star" on the violin

*He is the ONLY one in his class that can count to 100! Thats right this little smartie pants can count PAST 100, and he is darn proud of it too!

And last but not least, his teachers comments about him: "He is such a great student! He has such a fun, quiet personality. He really came out of his shell this year. He loves to tell us stories, and show-n-tell is his favorite! He always does his best work and sits quietly during rug time. He is friends with EVERYONE in class. He always shares and resolves issues easily. He is just great!"

Their graduation/recital was awesome! Their dances looked so good I was so proud of all of them (I was their dance teacher for preschool dance this year). Their violins were great, and their songs were fabulous! So if any of you St George-ians are in the market for a preschool the Little Gems Preforming Arts Preschool is so amazing, we will miss it terribly!
