friendly thankfulness

Today (and yesterday too) I am thankful for....crafty friends. No really I do have the greatest friends anyways, the craftiness just adds to it :) I feel so blessed to have made such close and wonderful friends here. My friend Mel taught me how to make hair bows on Saturday so that I could make some for a Christmas tree my sister-in-law and aunties are doing for the Festival Of Trees in honor of my little niece who was sick, but now thankfully all better. We love Primary Children's Medical Center dearly now! Anywhoo so yesterday and today Anthon and I sat down and made bows.....I am certain I have burned off all of my finger tips, and I almost swore at least a dozen times but it was totally worth it because its for a great cause....... but.....if this little bean ends up being a girl I can honestly say I WILL be one of "those" moms that BUYS hair bows. I am just not the hair bow makin type.

P.S if you are now just dying to donate some of your own hair bows or head bands or anything girly like that to the tree just let me know :)
