out with the old

the carpet and old laminate is gonnnnneeeeeee! Dan, with a little help from the boys, pulled up all the old stuff. Please keep in mind that we had no idea who has lived in our house before us or how many pets have actually graced the carpet, so its no surprise that pulling up the old carpet and seeing it from the "other side" has given us some fabulous nightmares. But its gone, and the new floors are beautiful! I just love them!!

P.S: Dan called me a "scrooge" when I asked him "what the heck?" when he told me he tipped the guy who installed the floors $40 bucks when he left. The guy who we had just paid basically $125 BUCKS AN HOUR (times that by 10 hours) to install them. Ya whose with me. ;)
