So do I take it as a compliment (meaning: I am the master of the house) or a hint (meaning: it's time to drop those last extra pounds) that I am the giant woman in Anthons family picture. Let's be honest I may be a snag overprotective. So maybe that's why I am giant sized in said portrait. I still cry at least twice a month when I drop my kids off at school, and not because I am a super cool mom and will miss playing candy land all day, but because when they are at school I can't protect them from bullies and bees (don't judge, bee stings hurt). I'm getting better....a little.....hey I don't spy at recess or anything.....maybe I did once, but It was just a drive by...ok maybe twice....i don't want to talk about it anymore.

Kids just have to deal with so much more then we did as kids. So much more bad in the world. Which reminds me, I read a blog post (i will not name names, that's rude, and kinda gossipy) that was talking about how we should NOT teach are kids that swear words are "bad words" but we should say they are "adult words." Seriously?! now I consider myself very open minded but I'm sorry a bad word is just that, a BAD word. I don't care if you are a kid or an adult, some words just shouldn't be said. By saying they are "adult words" makes it sound like you are supposed to say those words when you are an adult. Now I can say that some of the greatest "adults" I know I have never heard those words come out of their mouths. Now I'm not saying that I am a clean mouthed saint because I will be the first to admit sometimes the little ones they just slip out. But even though I AM an adult (or like to think so) it is still a BAD word.  Ok I'm done...wow who knew I had such an opinion on that....and I am sure I have just offended a gazzilion people. So let me end with this. I don't care if you swear, to each his own . Just like I don't care if you like pickles. I hate pickles. Really Hate pickles. but we can still be friends even though we are not in pickle agree-ness
oh side note: Anthon came home with a black eye a couple days ago. Some kid was swinging a jump rope around and it nabbed him. He was brave, and didn't seem to care. He's a rockstar.

You are such a cute mom!!! Don't worry, I'm really protective over Janeen as well and I will probably be even more of a momma bear when she starts going to school. People probably think I'm crazy, but I don't care. Oh and I totally agree with you about the swearing thing.
