This year Dan had Pioneer Day off. We went to the parade and then the festivities at the park. Anthon rode in the parade with our ward and our friends Jaymie and Ryan. Noah....well he didnt want anything to do with riding in the parade, so he watched and caught all the candy instead. This was the first time we have ever went to the Ivins festivities and it was a lot of fun. Dan was in charge of the booth for our ward so he recruited some of the Young Women to help man the table and they had a "RootBeer Challange." Perfect for a Utah holiday....or is it a Mormon holiday? I actually dont know....anyways.....They had 6 different brands of RootBeer and you had to see if you could guess which was which. It was a huge success. Because hey not only was it an awesome idea (props to Dan), its Rootbeer, its free, and its 100+ degrees outside.
